The Curriculum

Our School offers CBSE Curriculum.


The Prime focus of the board is innovation in teaching learning -methodologies by revising student – friendly and student – centered paradigms, introducing reforms in exams and evaluation processes, thereby making learning a joyful experience.

The School follows English as medium of instruction with the latest curriculum pronounced by Central Board of Secondary Education. Tamil is followed as II Language and Hindi as III Language.

Computer Education, Value Education, General Knowledge, Physical and Health Education also form part of extra curriculum.

Our School gives equal importance to Co – Scholastic areas like life skills. Art & Craft, Taekwonda , Silambam and so on. School Rules

Children should be habitually clean and always neatly dressed.

Student’s Hand Book

Every student should carry his / her handbook / diary and identify card to school each day. A student should affix his / her photograph and write the required information, duly signed by parents in the space provided for, in the handbook.

Punctuality

Students should come to school on timer.

Non – Bus commuters must arrive 5 minutes before the home period. Students are not supposed to miss any classes / games.

Dress and Appearance

Uniform must always be neat and clean. Id – cared must be worn at all times.

Uniform is compulsory during school hours and for all school functions including all such instances where students represent the school outside.

Girls are not allowed to apply mehandi, colouring of hair or use nail polish on school days.

Girls should not wear any trinkets, beads, chains, colour threads, sets of bangles or gins on fingers. Girls may wear small ear rings and a pair of bangles. Gold jewellery ia nor permitted, second ear ring / piercing is not allowed.

Boys are not allowed to wear ear – rings, chains, colour threads or bracelets and smart watches.

Both students and staff are not allowed to carry mobile phones inside the classroom.

Long hair must be followed by all girl students in the school campus while representing school.

Colouring or bleaching of hair / fancy hair cut is not permitted for boys and girls.

Boys should have their hair cut an inch above their ears, no fashionable of fancy hair cut is permitted.

Students of Class IV onwards are permitted to wear watches. Avoid fancy watches.

Cleanliness

Children should be habitually clean and always neatly dressed.

All books and note books should be neatly maintained throughout the year. Notebooks and books should be covered and labeled.

Students must carry a napkin and spoon to school daily and use them during lunch break.

Students are advised to keep the campus and their class rooms as clean as possible. They should throw the trash into the dustbins only.

Care must be taken in order to maintain clean, green surroundings.
